Hello people,
I'd appreciate some advise on choosing a video camera. What am I supposed to look at? I searched the web, but got very confused: some people call them video cameras, some camcorders, some handycams; some claim that hard disk format is better, others say tape, while some parties say it's the DVD; some say the microphone should be in the front, some don't really mind it being anywhere...
I'd really appreciate links to comprehensive beginners guides on choosing one. And, if it matters, the camera is supposed to be used not only for family recordings, but also for some independent documentaries.
