not sure if this has been mentioned before or not, but.
i'm generally a last minute enterer into the challenges. what i find happening is editing a photo and submitting it close to the deadline - or at least my bedtime the night of rollover. a lot of times i submit it - look at it on DPC for a spell - and go to bed. i neglect a lot of times to post the details of the shot - either because i am tired - don't have the time - or don't feel like it at the moment.
it would be nice to be able to ammend the details of the photo while voting is going on. that way it's there as soon as the challenge ends for anyone that cares to read it - in the event it didn't get posted upon submit.
maybe i'm just lazy on sunday and tuesday nights...

| There was a way to do this - but then I explained how to in a thread and an hour later that ability had been changed. |

i don't see the harm if you access the file through the portfolio manager and not via the actual challenge.
i was thinking in the long run it might eliminate some of NA's that currently appear on many of the entries. i'm sure there are plenty that don't want to fill the info in, but i like to explain the setup if i think others might be interested.
oh well/.
