I'm a big fan of sepia toning, but in this case it may have done the pic justice to leave the colour in. it's hard to tell (save for the title) the top and bottom is fence rail. Love the depth, and the refraction the rails create.

a solid 7 if i were voting on it.

Sepia or Color?

I take it back.. Sepia is better. I was hoping the fence rails would lighten up or something in colour. I tried a hew different crops and none of them seemed to work (to clarify what the rails are). In retrospect it probably doesn't matter. Cropped right down, it makes for a very nice natural border.

sorry to mess with your image...just for ideas' sake.

i like the image and sepia toning, but just got distracted with the white square in the upper right side of the photo.. just the only thing i noticed. still good work

the cropping, i want to see more of the fence (the black), for me its better, looks like framing your image in a fence...thanks for sharing your pix...

Not a bad shot. I agree with the others. Sepia for sure. I would also not stop at this shot. Since you have to crop it to get the right picture go back out there and take more. Get the shot perfect so you don't have to crop. I make it a rule to try not to crop the original shot. Doesn't mean I don't but if I can I will usually go back out and shot some more.
