Hi. Tried something a little different with the PP on this. Does it look ok? Suggestions for improving (processing mostly - composition is what it is. :D )

If you mean, "Does the gaussian blur around the subject work on this image?", I think it's fine. It's not ridiculous or extreme, hasn't brought in any halos etc. Looks fine to me, sweet shot.

Ok. Thanks guys. Sounds like it's "ok" overall but could use some tweaking. I don't need it perfect, but nice enough to put in a frame for him. :D |

I like that you made a rather ordinary shot more special and in fact quite striking. A great looking image to frame and share. I couldn't sell this to clients, though, its just a bit too much. |

I tend to agree with crayon that I don't like the effect overly much in that I find the blur is making my eyes do strange things. Have you considered an opaque white gradient as a frame using the same oval shape that you used for the blur? |
