Any suggestions greatly appreciated. I'm going to be donating some prints to a local weirdo gatheri.. I mean UFO conference, and if I can make some business cards up to put them with the pictures, maybe I'll get some clients or more people to buy prints. I might be able to print them at work for free, but I'm not sure. At least some samples probably, and hopefully I can do that tomorrow, but I can change the design again before then.

Yeah, I totally jacked the idea from the High Voltage album cover. I love that one.

IMHO:
The big lighting bolt is just a little to crazy.
The colors don't match anything else in the image.
My eye keeps staring at that, rather than your name and contact info.

Develop the color scheme a little more.
The orange works, maybe a little green to go with the stroke on the text.

Also, why lighting bolts?
What does that have to do with photography?
I guess it would make sense if these cards are a one time thing for the conference.

One last thing, I'd say move the main element down a little, there's not enough room above "photography"

Hope I am of some assistance.

Keep the big lightning, but make it a single color. kick out anything else and straighten the letters. don't use outlines, glows, bevels. I'll be back in ten minutes with my approach...

Think it looks terrible to be honest, far too garish.

It's good for a sci-fi clientele, but I wouldn't use this as a general business card.

Thanks for the suggestions. Eyewave, that one does look more like a regular business card, and maybe that's a good thing.

I'll work on a variation.

This was what inspired the design, by the way:

Here's another version.. I guess the lightning bolt can go, but I kind of like it.
