Brown is ok but lets lift it up,
Question for all OOFers how about our own little thread for the team?
I kind of feel lost in here sometimes and dont seem to be able to talk much as i miss half of the posts etc. Plus it makes it easy to manage team stuff? just a thought

Sorry to be blunt but I work full time and take 3 classes and enjoy being with family/friends so if you think I going to lift up anything for dpchallenge, think again. Kelli and I have consistently entered challenges, which as far as I am concerned, is good enough.
I think you might be lonely in an OOFers thread. The suck league has a website where it's much easier to manage team stuff and keep track of new postings.

My own time is very limited. This to me is just for fun. A high score is nice here and there, but it's not really my goal. On top of job hunting, taking care of my son and home, and taking care of my 83 year old, blind, wheelchair bound grandmother, my days are pretty full. As for another thread, I don't feel I could keep up with one. Besides, I like getting the feed back of everyone on TS.

Am I the only one that sees a tiny bit of a similarity here? I just noticed it.

guys
i also have a full time job, have aa family, 4 year old ankle biter running after me when at home, various other commitments.
Was not meaning to step on anybody s toe's but was surprised at the Brown and think that we could all push to lift from the bottom and see what we are capable of.
I have seen a lot of pics from people here and know we could do it. After all if winning is not important then why keep score ;-) its all fun in any case
Edit typo very kindly pointed out below..LOL

Heck - I'm a stay-at-home mom. No outside job. No real-life friends for the most part. Just 3 little ones (4½ yrs, 2½ yrs, and 11 weeks).
And I have trouble keeping up with this thread !
I enter what I can - but if I can't shoot my hubby, kids, cat, or something in my home, I don't really have a hope. Once the weather warms up some and I can get the family out more - I hope I'll be able to get more out of the house shots. |

I am saying to all Team Suck/OOFers members that if we all add an exrta 10% in our images we might get lifted of the bottom of the score chart. I know its only fun but hey why not try and see how good we can become. IS that not the reason we are here? to learn to be a better photographer and have fun trying.

As someone who is motivated to eventually become a professional photog, I can in no way understate the value of DPC and Team Suck in helping me improve. What I love about TS is the valuable feedback, sense of comaraderie, and safe haven to commiserate when my realization falls short of my goals, or I just plain enter a stinker. That being said, I am always trying to set the bar higher for myself. |

I like to set a goals that are just a bit out of reach but in time can be archived, I see nothing wrong with getting better and my comments again are not intented to annoy people or make them feel there effort is not good enough. If it has been taken that way then i apologize.
again i was just surprised to see us with a brown. I am also a very competitive person and hate coming last. ;-)

Don't worry about it Brookied. Once I get shooting again Entropy will quickly snatch the brown ;) |

Darren, you can probably have you cake and eat it too by joining a WPL team when the next season comes around. That's a very competitive league and the teams are small (7 people, I think) and they have their own team threads to discuss stuff. And we'll still let you hang out on Team Suck if you wish to do so. I know at least a couple of other Suckers are currently on WPL teams and we've not banished them, even when they score really well in challenges. :-) |

I am in for trees. and it will suck. I was out all day Monday and just couldnt find anything that struck as an awesome tree shot. Then when i was going through my photos lastnite i found one that i thing would be a 5 but realized i shot it in raw. so the one i entered is probally about a 4.5. thats life at least i had a good day looking for a tree. |

David, to me half the fun (if not more) of a challenge is going out to see what I can see and shoot keeping the challenge in mind. The other half of the fun is getting home to see what I got. The challenge itself is, well, usually not fun, so I just kinda say "eh" and look at the next one.
I'm in "Tree" with what should be a solid 5.3 but I thought that of my "Love" shot too and it's lingering in the 4's right now, so what do I know?? :-) |

I'm in for "tree" and "acronym"
I'm not crazy about either shot - maybe around 4.0 both ?
