Here's a little something just for my Team Suck mates. I think one or two of you will get a kick out of it - taken on Monday at the Fasching (or Fastnacht) celebration in Mainz, which is one of the largest ones in Germany from what I'm told.
I'll post a few more in the "Where I live" thread here in a bit. |

I'll be posting one in Free Study for sure and I may have an idea for Ice.
I am still keeping my fingers crossed and not getting my hopes too high but I have posted three pics up in my Where I Live 'folio......one of which would have been a contender for Trees had my lens not fogged and made me clone out the "lens perspiration".

| I got my camera back today from the sensor cleaning. It certainly was worth $35.00 to have it done by someone that knows what they're doing. They swabbed the sensor and used a surgical vacuum to clean the chamber. Can't beat that! |

Arrrrggh. WHY do voters toy with me so? Hate was up to 6.1 at one point today. Now back to 5.9889. I know, I know, it'll probably rise, and the scrubber is usually good to me at the end. But ... arrrggh.
On the other hand, Street has climbed past 5.5.
Deb, let me save you the trouble - I'm not capable of turning off scores. :)

| I can't wait till Free Study votes. I love the picture I entered. I might need to fix the slight yellow cast in a bit. I know it will do poorly though, but it is one of my favorites recently. |

Liverpool beat Barcelona in the Champions League,
My Street entry is now 7+
I have near 100 dollars in Shutterstock for last month i did not know about.

They are a pretty good band, though a little old. I haven't seen them play in a decade (darn, I'm getting old). While not from Seattle area initially, they got there "break" up here in Seattle. It was one of the famed "Sub Pop" labels. Not sure what kind of music you are into, but if you like other "Sub Pop" bands you'll like them. Let me know if you go and like the music! |

Jayson, I don't know what sub pop is:) so maybe I'm not into it.
I like Coldplay, Tom mcRae, Foo fighters, Bjørk and everything with "drive" and weird:) but maybe I should go to explore new thngs:) |

SubPop is just a record label. Old bands include Nirvana (first album), Jesus and Mary Chain, Sunny Day Real-Estate, Sound Garden. (Alot of Seattle Grunge)
And new bands such a Postal Service, The Shins, Sebadoh, Sleater-Kinney.
It is a local indy Seattle label that young bands often start off at, before they sign to bigger labels. |
