After living in the Salt Lake Valley for the past 18 years my wife and I are packing up the dogs and moving to Florida! My wife̢۪s job offered her a transfer to De Land so the house is going up for sale in a couple weeks and hopefully we will be relocated by the end of May. It̢۪s going to suck to leave Utah behind with all its great photo ops but at the same time I can̢۪t wait to hunt down some new spots. Luckily I will be able to continue working my current job from home, which is great. I am so excited about moving and getting down to the sunshine state!

Hey John! De land isn't far from Jacksonville - maybe you can join a GTG or two! :D Look forward to welcoming you to this corner of heaven.

There was one in 2005, and one being planned right now Florida GTG Thread
I know of a few mini-GTGs too, have had a couple myself as DPCers pass through my area.

To bad I am going to miss the upcoming GTG, but I look forward to being at the rest.

The info for the hotel is in the first post in the GTG thread. Reserve a room before March 6th for that rate. The fine details will be worked out in the next few weeks (specific schedule, etc.). :)
