I was testing out a few long exposure shots to see if I could come up with something for the Speed challenge and was rudely introduced to a new term in digital imaging - hot pixels. Aaaargh!!!

With the 750? How bad is it? Are you using the supplied noise reduction algorithms?

I didn't have it on at first since I thought I didn't need it. However, after getting a taste of hot pixels at 16s exposure times, I tested with NR on and it did eliminate a significant amount of hot pixels. Too bad I discovered it only after wasting over 30+ shots..... :(
