Sure, it must be really hopped up on preservatives. Gotta be safe. |

That's got to be some kind of military "food". I can't imagine anyone else who would package something with a shelf life like that.

I like that they've narrowed it down to which month in that year ...
Thate's pretty funny.
Maybe they could be more specific ... like which DAY of December.
or it could say "this food will last longer than the ink it takes to print this ... so use your judgement" ...
OR
"this food will last longer than the human race ... so go for it" |

I have 200 boxes of twinkies in my fallout shelter. This is why I am conflicted about whether I am for or against North Korea and Iran developing nuclear weapons. ;-P |

Wonder Bread.
My daughter's friend's sailboat got a leak. EVERYTHING on board was mildewed or mouldy. Everything, that is, except the Wonder Bread. |

I know for a fact that it is not Spam, because Spam has a half life of 1000 years.
The 'Sp' in spam is SPIRIDIUM. The 'am' is "HAM", so we are told.
so do the math.
Spiridium fed hogs that turn into nice little blue aluminum canned packages of nurishing Spam.
With Cheese puffs, and a bottle of YooHoo, youv'e got yourself a meal fit for well preserved, bomb shelter restaurant.

It is a frozen food dinner of some sort that comes in a bag. Purchased in Oct. 2006.

No, because it's expired! (December 30th 2005--they just left out the spaces). |

It was bought in 2006. When purchased and noticed, went back to store - ALL bags of all types of same brand had the same format code - month/year only. When I went back, this particular variety was no longer on the rack and since then it has not been back. |

I once worked for "Hallmark" in the merchandising division; we would go around to all the stores and take displays out and replace them. Under a display I found a ten year old beef jerky slim jim stick; it was as fresh as the brand new ones on the rack.
But seriously, don't you hate it when you go there adn theres a 3005 exp date, but you still have to look for the 3007 daters because that would be fresher? |
