I went to My Preferences to add my new camera to the list but it wasn't there. I wonder who does the updating, and when?
Anyway, I found some defect on my 740 (dust on the CCD, I think) and sent it to the service centre, so I didn't get to participate in the recent challenges... but after seeing all the entries for Self Portrait Revisited I am very, very grateful that I didn't try to participate in that one! :D :D :D

I'm thinking about a 750 (or a 720) as a 2nd camera... how are you finding it? |

Great macro and great zoom! Image quality is quite good, especially since you can select ISO 50 on the 750 (not the other 7xx, though). I also like the way manual focusing is implemented on the camera. You can do a half-press shutter to autofocus, then immediately switch to manual focus and keep your current focus settings. Something like a more permanent AF Lock feature....
Dislikes:
- Plastic tripod mount (I screw and unscrew a lot)
- Av, Tv, M modes grouped together on the mode dial (a hassle to change from one mode to another)
Check out some of my test shots:
