Look here to get some ideas about Flash templates. Mine loads slow but that can be fixed. I don't know or have the time to learn Flash so I have someone do the input for me...it's a pain in the ass, getting things done but they look good.

Why start the same thread again? You got a lot of good responses in the thread you started this morning.
Edit - sorry the previous thread was more about domain than the actual site. So I'll repeat my previous answer - Yahoo! :)

Allow me this opportunity to strongly recommend against the yahoos at Yahoo. Yeesh these people bother me.
I'm the webmaster for Groundhog.org which is the official site of the Groundhog Day festivities in Punxsutawney, PA (if you've seen the movie Groundhog Day, that's us!).
So the week before Groundhog Day, I got e-mail from the folks who had been hosting the site for the last decade, telling me that they no longer wanted to host the site because of the huge amount of traffic it gets (it can easily get 1TB of traffic on Groundhog Day alone since it gets linked by CNN/USA Today, and many other huge sites).
The Groundhog Club contacted Yahoo, and let them know about the bandwidth requirements, etc., and they set up a paid business account. I was 1,100 miles away at the time, but managed to transfer the whole site over, which also involved editing every page to conform with their server set-up (I used .shtml files for server-side-includes, but they don't support them, so I had to convert the whole thing to .php).
Well, right off the bat the site was spewing out "Error 999" pages for no reason. And the Yahoo technical support people were virtually NO HELP in figuring out the real cause of the problem. One tech said they'd have it fixed but it would be "at least five days" before they'd fix it. Swell... that was TWO days before Groundhog Day! Thanks so much for the help, dimwads!
So on the day we're linked by huge news organizations, we ended up looking like idiots, with Error 999 popping up at least half of the time. I shalt take every opportunity to bash Yahoo's service now. |

i bet you came up with a few pretty good new slogans for Yahoo! during all that chaos...

mac.com is a good one to start off with. When I first started the whole website thing I first started using mac.com really nice layouts and easy to use. Then I went on to smugmug and start customizing my site with html and css. lol to be truthful I still dont know it at all I, it was alot of questions I asked and cut and pasting. Right now my smugmug site is //www.lamontphotography.com

If you're looking for hosting, I highly recommend arvixe.com, good plans and great service, very quick with ticket responses.
I'd steer away from flash templates unless you know how to edit them, stick with CSS/HTML/PHP since you can kind of hack your way through it without special programming skills and expensive editing programs.
