i went there in the week of June 14th for a week. One of my most favorite places in north america (located near Estes Park, Colorado or Grand Lake Colorado, depending on which way you're going into the park)..... was there last year as well.

seems maybe a bit contrasty? or the exposure levels are a bit off?

Nope, that's how it looks on a cloudy day. Actually it's not contrasty at all, since the sun is covered by clouds (1st photo). You're probably right on the second photo, the exposure was done for the water)
