I would appreciate some insight on what you think of the snap and what should have been done and what should not have been done.

i live very near to this place and have passed around it for so many times. But never visited the vijay sthumb itself.
Will do it this time.
As far as snap goes, its look normal to me.
(sorry for not being much help). |

I agree with Vicki ... an earlier or later in the day shot would be much more dramatic and the movement of the tower to the left into the rule of thirds line would do wonders if that wall on the right permits.
Technically, I downloaded it and played with it and besides a touch of brightness and contrast adjustment and about +15 or so saturation, I don't see a lot you can do with this.
I find it rather flat because of the lighting and like, Vicky, hope that you can go back for another shot at a more dramatic time of day light wise.
