I could play like that if I wanted to. I just don't want to, that's all.

;-)

Very cool

Kaki King's been at it for years. Someone turned me onto her maybe three years ago. She's a really great composer and if you like her or this stuff it's easy to find. I assume she's who inspired that guy. Great stuff taken to a different place.

on Conan

and here

I almost went down to see her play last night.

Michael Hedges

How could I forget to mention him? I think he was one of the first to really take the percussive thing way out there.

In my search I also found this guy Adam Werner who looks like he's into some cool stuff.

Very nice - to listen you wouldn't think it's one person with an acoustic. At the risk of stating a youtube deluge, this guy is sorta-vaguely in the same vein, although his methods are totally different: link

I also found Andy Mckee today while surfing around and was blown away by his talent, I did a search and downloaded "Drifting" from itunes. He may not be the only one "tapping" but he's sooo good at it :)

If you like that kind of music try a search with "Rodrigo y Gabriela" they are Mexicans but became popular in Ireland. I went to a gig in Manchester and they sound awsome live. All their music comes from two acoustic guitars.

Check this link, the video is rubbish but you get the idea.

Wow, talk about soothing music to end the day. Langdon should buy his albums and get a license to provide them as voting background music. :)
