I have recently been playing with Photoshop CS and I have managed to make a few changes to a few photos. Which one of these grabs more attention?

#2 is quite a bit overprocessed. Plus, I would say magentas are a more unusual way to go with sunsets.

I like 1 better.

I like #1 ... has a much more realistic feel to it ...

Yeah I am in the #1 camp as well.

Yeah ... #1 hands down! ... I really don't like all that magenta in #2.

#1 seems possible, but hard to capture. I think you did a good job doing just that.

Looking again at #2 I see even more stuff about it that does not please my eyes. The serious blooming of the super saturated oranges under the tree canopy. The imbalance of the trees, themselves, the fairly uniform colour of the sky.

#1 by a mile.

Actually I would like to see #1 with the sat actually pushed even just a TAD harder. I think it might look super dramatic if not overdone ... just a wee smidgeon more of sat might be nice.

Well, #2 GRABS me more, but I like #1 more.

But, frankly, #1 doesn't actually grab me enough. I think you can try to increase the contrast to get some drama into the clouds.

OK ... just a VERY fast job with a low res original. Did I get carried away too much?

What do ya think, Jeffrey? ... Too much like a post card? Is that bad?

Your new edit:

Very close to what I suggested and did ... I added a neat image layer and pushed the blues a bit on top of what you did I think ... at any rate ... getting better methinks.

... AND you are trying to sneak some more MAGENTA in there! ... LOL

OH HEY! ... #2 is MUCH better now!

LOL, I didn't edit the second two... those are totally straight out of the camera :)

I like the one with the blue in the sky though... I may go that direction.

Thanks for all the fun so far!! :)
