| Can the flash damage the Cameras electronic circuit, because of the diference in the voltage? Tnx |

no it will not damage the camera
a sb80dx is a modern flash and has a low trigger threshold
(used on a d100/d80/fg/d200 .. works fine just doesn't work with CLS)

/don't recall ;)
i've been using it in M mode (flash & camera) for the last year or so with the D200
for timed exposures (the Sb800 has a longer flash duration at 1/128 & 1/64 power than the 80dx so i kept it for the 'studio' & use the sb800 everywhere else ... ;) |
