I've had an ongoing problem on the dpc website. It hangs up ... gets stuck ... whatever. The only way to fix it is to close the browser and re-open it, then all works well for a little while before going back to the same behavior.
I'm using IE7
any thoughts? |

| i should add that it seems to do especially when I click out of the browser, and then back into it ... but don't close out the browser. |

I have found that this occurs every hour on the hour when the scores are calculated. The server is tied up and becomes very slow but still does respond eventually. It usually happens that I get a timeout error on the browser during that time.
It happens on all browsers as the server is the problem I think.
Advice: just wait 10min until the calculations are done. |

yes, i clear my browser history often
it hangs up for me all the time, not just during challenge change-overs (when i'm sound asleep :)
thanks for the input
I thought it might have something to do with the fact that i have IE pop-up blocker and Google toolbar pop-up blocker running at the same time (which, of course, makes no sense as dpc doesn't have pop-ups) ... needless to say, that wasn't it. |
