I may have missed it but what is the normal wait time for those of you who have been approved and uploading on a regular basis. I understand why the first disk may take a while but it would be nice to know that regular submissions mean lees time to post.

Thanks in advance

The time varies. My second disk took over a month after they received it. My third disk, less then 2 weeks.

Ooo my 'media received' has changed to 'processing'. Took a month, and this is my first submission.

Spydr,

Thanks for the prompt response. I am waiting on my second now. I'll post when it goes.

Thanks again

It tends to be a little under a month for us; for example received 28th June, completed 19th July (to pick a random disk!)

I thought that "Processing" was the last status before the completion of the test, but today the status changed to "Awaiting QC".

I'm just curious....again not ready to submit yet...but does Alamy accept people photos. Let me clarify that a little more. I'm talking lets say portraits or shots that you'd find in a women's or men's magazine. Standard girl being sexy, glamours, or just cute. Shots you'd find on a magazine cover???

spyder,
9 of your keywords are coming up as one for some odd reason.
I have noticed this on several peoples images.

I'm pretty sure they do albc28, obviously with a model release is mcuh better.

Thanks Teresa

I think it may be that some are seperated by a space and other by a comma. I will be fixing it directly. Thanks again for the heads up.

Teresa I owe you big. Most of my keywording was messed up.

As it turns out there needs to be a space between your keywords. Just a comma doesn't work. I had copied most of my keywords from my other images on iStock and Dreamstime. The formats are not completely interchangeable.

They're all fixed now. I'm sure that this is all that has been holding me back. I'll probably have hundreds of downloads in no time now. : )

My second submission just turned over from "Received Media"
to "Awaiting Quality Control" It shows the correct number of images (105)but also lists 2 "errors". It doesn't show that the disk has been
rejected but it also doesn't show what the errors are or how to correct them.

Can anyone tell me what this means, what to expect and what I can do to prevent this in the future.

Thanks in advance.

No, they do not accept "Glamour". Read on here:

No Glamour

More details under step 1 of "edit collection of images".

I just passed the QC yesterday (February 14). My disk was received on January 19. So it took only 18 working days.
02/15/2007 02:57:29 PM · #1146
I'm jealous. Mine were received January 17.. and are still listed as Processing as of about 3:00 EST on Feb 15. Haven't even clicked over to "awaiting QC" yet.

Congrats on passing QC Maviefan.

Mine continues to say "Processing." :(
Wait, wait, wait.

I wish it were that easy! LOL I am always glad to help.
I find stuff all the time I wish I could contact the owner and make a friendly suggestion but they don't always have that info available.

Mine finally switched over to Awaiting QC.. woo hoo!
Certainly pushed right through the full 4 weeks.

There's a note for 2 errors though. Man I hope that doesn't come back to bite me.
