Okay, I entered this in FS. It didn't do badly, but it didn't do as well as I had hoped it would. Can I have your opinions? :) Pretty please? :)

What would have made this shot better?

**I consider everything helpful**

Well, your commenters during the challenge certainly loved it! I think it's a great shot but it's very different from the norm. Sometimes that kind of thing does well, but not always.

I was afraid of that when I entered it... but, at the same time, I thought perhaps the interest of it would help... OH WELL! At least it was in the top half right? :)

As far as score, right: oh, well. You did fine.

As far as your portfolio, be proud! It's an original idea well shot, and those are precious few (here's where someone posts links to 29 versions of it)!

And again, keep in mind that "average" score means just that. There's all kinds of terrific art that appeals very intensely to one group but not across all groups. That's not a slam on DPC voters as "the thoughtless masses." Quite the contrary: DPC voters have tastes just like anyone else, and your shot appealed to those commenters very strongly.

I will keep this in mind. I didn't take it harshly sweetheart, I am just wondering how to improve upon shots like this in the future. Thanks for taking the time to make me feel better! :)

I personally liked this a LOT! I got all grumbly because of my DQ in this challenge and did not vote though.
