hello all,

i shot this a month backin b/w mood of my Canon350D. This is a temple with an amazing shadow on it.

Hi Mihir,

I like the image - great shadows, as yuo say. Straightening it would help and a narrower aperture would increase the DoF to keep the statues in focus. You might want to explore unsharp mask (I might try settings 100% and radius of 0.3) to bring out a little more sharpness.

As a point of interest, b&w processing is much easier to do on the computer rather than in-camera - the in-camera b&w option offers no advantages and prevents you from either producing a colour version or mixing the colour channels differently to alter the balance in a b&w rendition (effectively mimicking adding a colour filter to b&w film).
