Virtual GTG, Thursday 8th Feb...

...I'm going out with a few guys from my Camera Club on Thursday for some shooting. I don't know what we'll do but it will end in Curry - that is for sure!

I would like to invite anybody and everybody to just go out on Thursday (at you convenience of course) and just shoot anything, your choice. Then post their favorite/best shot here once they have processed.

If nobody is interested, this will be a very lonely and quite thread ;-)

I like the idea, but having to work sort of bags the chance of participating. Virtual GTG with some sort of theme (go out and shoot X on Saturday) would be cool though.

Since I shoot nearly every day anyway, sure, I'll join a virtual GTG lol

Well I'm not specifying a time or indeed a time zone, so feel free to shoot anything any time, just do it on Thursday 8th.

Depending on how this one goes, I'll more than likely suggest another Virtual GTG date (and Theme?) next week.

I'm looking forward to it already!

I am in ... I can shoot something on thursday ... but a GTG assumes, I would think a time frame to chat about the shots? but whatever ... more details please ?

A GTG to me is, I assume, a Get ToGether??

OK, I'm going out on Thursday to shoot with some friends. No theme, no plans yet, just us and our cameras.

All I'm encouraging you, and anyone else, to do is the same. With or without anyone else, this is YOUR call. No themes, no plans, just you and your gear.

I'm going out in the evening because that time suits me. If you want to play, just go out on Thursday and shoot. AM, PM, Sleepy time - it's YOUR call.

After Thursday, process and post. It's that simple. No themes, no plans, just us and our gear ;-)

Edit: To make my question clearer ... is there a time you plan to GTG with us participants on line or just over the few days following to share our photos?

P.S. I already have a special shot for this in mind!

No time frame, no chat. (apologise if this is fundemental to a GTG). However we can all discuss what we post after Thursday.

There are of course NO RULES to this, or at least not in my opinion, I would just expect everyone who takes part to stick to the spirit of the sessions and shot on Thursday (at anytime).

Elivs - this is great, more so when you see the original, the digital darkroom is a wonderful place!

I do find the branches a tad on the distracting side, but once your eyes get used to them, it's so such a big barrier to the rest of the image.
