I agree completely. I'd say that the last three Super Bowls have had really lackluster commercials, despite all the hype.

When I was a kid, there were ALWAYS at least one or two commercials that you'd talk about for days after the game. That just hasn't been the case for some time now.

I like the bud light commercial with the gorillas plotting to steal the beer.

someone linked me to spotbowl which seems to have a few more then myspace but I can't get them all to play. I did find a few that were good but was on the most part disapointed.

i did like the homemade doritos commercial. that was the best -- and it wasn't made by a bunch of suits sitting around a conference table. :)

The Snickers commericail at the beginning of the game was the funniest to me. CareerBuilder.com ads were pretty funny too.

Nothing like previous years. The EDS cat herding one from 2000 (I think) is still my fave of all time.

There was a rumor that Apple was going to have, possibly to announce The Beatles being available on iTunes. I didn't see anything from Apple this time. It would still be hard for Apple to top the Ridely Scott 1984 ad for the 1984 Super Bowl.

A few were cute, a couple mildly funny, and most were just plain stupid. The Mapasaurus commercial was sooo dumb...and yet it's rating 4 1/2 stars on MySpace.

This could have totally been a DPC commercial :-)

Too me, Super Bowl commercials are about having a good time and giving the audience a good laugh, not really trying to sell something. But this time around, it seemed like there were way too many 'serious' commercials, like the FloMax medicine for urinary problems...who wants to see that during the superbowl? The one I laughed the hardest at was the bud light commercial with all the immigrants in class, learning how to ask for a bud light in different parts of the country, and ended with the indian saying "bood light" over and over.
