Hi,

I have a new beginners telescope (Bushnell Voyager Sky Tour 700mm x 60mm) and I set it up...while viewing moon last night I noticed that the moon was not looking that sharp...am I missing something in here? I was seeing best possible sharpness.

Also is there any simple way to locate a planet? :) A free learning software? :)

For finding planets, Sky and Telescope magazine is good place to start. There are many free and inexpensive software programs that you can install on your computer as well, Starry Night is the one I like.

Regarding your telescope, what you have is what amateur astronomers refer to as a low-end department store scope. Not highly recommended by serious sky watchers. You may have already bumped into its limits.
