Just move it back out to the Applications folder, open prefs, set what ya want then you can move it back.
Be sure it is quit before moving it either way.

Haha, that's so crazy. It worked. Thanks for all you guys' help.

Not really all that crazy. When an application is installed it sets up its folders with it's property files etc. that it needs to run with. By moving one of these files you've made it so the program can't find it any more.

Is there a way to point those files and folders to where I moved it? I'm relatively new on macs, so that's why I look like a noob. :P

This isn't strictly MAC. This will happen on PCs as well. It's all application related. Try moving all your PS files somewhere other than the presets folder. PS won't be able to find anything.

There may be something as part of the install where you can identify where these files are going to be. Each application is different.

Your welcome! I have a Paypal account to send to. LOL
Most things like this are written in the program, as where to look for its "other parts and prefs."

Applications should always stay in their default location, the Applications Folder. It's just a fact of life with a modern operation system. Luckily though, you can put an alias (a shortcut in windows) anywhere you want, and as many as you want.

If you move or loose something like that on a Mac, it is easy to find it by opening the finder window, then type what you want to locate in the upper right where it says "local discs". It works for any file in the computer.

Well, it was still in my Apps folder, but I put a subfolder named "photo stuff" and that's where I put the program. I didn't think it was going to be a big deal. Guess I know better.

Well, when installing a program, the install sequence suggests a location for the program. At that time you can select a different location.

On the same subject, most cameras can be set to show up as a camera or a disc in their set up menu. If you change the camera setting it may change how your computer deals with it. I changed my Fuji S3, and it wanted to open with the Fuji software instead of opening in iPhoto, so I changed it back, as iPhoto is my program of choice for dealing with reams of images quickly.
