I got my first validation request ...
"Your image in the Free Study 2007-01 challenge, "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" needs to be validated. (number of characters here changed)
Please visit the following URL within 48 hours for details on how to submit your original, unedited photograph:
//www.dpchallenge.com/proof_request.php?IMAGE_ID=XXXXXX
Remember to list the details of any post-shot editing that you performed. Note that failing to provide the camera original in a timely manner will result in your submission being disqualified."
OK ...
I have submitted the original straight-from-the-camera image that I used to make my image ... Find below what I put in the post processing description box ...
Wow ... I did, in a VERY detailed fashion, describe the post processing in this photo in the Photographer's comments when I submitted it. Can you not access those? I cannot when it is in the voting stage. I did not know I had to save ALL those details as WELL as the original from-the-camera image. I am sorry ... I choose not to guess as to the exact PP I did on this photo. If you cannot access the Photographer's Comments then we will have to wait until the challenge is over? ...
Do you think this is gonna be good enough? |

Yup. They can see the photog comments box so if you put your details there, you should be good. Now just sweat it out until you're validated. ;) |

Why ask on the forums? Think this question would be more fitting as a ticket to the site council, can find that under "help". |

Actually, the answer from mk is of benefit to the community so the question is valid to the community. However, maybe the reference to a current challenge is unecessary. |

I found mk's response interesting and informative. Now crawl back into your mid-ocean-ridge and stop discouraging people from posting in the forums. :-P |

Why not? ... I think this is more valid on the forums than religious discussions or counting to a million or the jokes thread ... I was just asking those more experienced if they thought it would be good enough. And I got a fast answer ... cool ... have a nice day.
