Hey Ladies! How you all doing?

Sonya, haven't heard from you for a few days, hope you're ok :o)

Well, I won the ebay auction and am now the proud owner of most of the pieces for my personification shot!! They will be with me thursday! I can't wait! :o)

LOL Rina, I know the feeling!! I've entered Shallow DOF with what I am sure is a below par shot but I need my update button to help get me through the week LOL

my lousy fill fram and minimal are running 4.2ish. stuck one in table shot...

no ideas for our first challenge yet but i am still brainstorming

outtake on shallow DOF

something about the background being out of focus then the back petals of flower being in focus and front of flower not being in focus just kept making me dizzy>>>I dunno...but you'd never know I took this 10 min different from what I submitted. I do know it was 14 degrees here (which is FRIGGIN COLD for Mississipp)and I bout froze this evening taking ANY shots, office is ringing my phone off the hook, tax season is kicking my tail, students are kicking my tail, and my dad is in a psych facility (he's 82, has colon cancer and kidney infection has taken ANY semblence of sanity from him), my laptop's backlight went out last week...so I'm on my son's laptop and NONE of my images look on here like they did/do on my laptop...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh LOL...lawd I love ya'll...still praying for ya Natayla :-) hugs to everyone...S

Well, msdbltrbl, my 3.25 in shallow dof doesn't look too bad now. at least my life is okay.

I tried my hand at DOF too....turns out I'm not all that good at it! : ) Low 5. It always feels good to try something new though and to stretch a bit regardless of score. I enjoyed working on it so much I really didn't care what it would score. Don't worry...for WPL4 challenges, I will start caring about the score again! Go team!!

Hang in there Sonya sister! Sounds like rough days for you right now. Fortunately tax season doesn't last forever.

Karma - I'm thinking the scores in DOF will start creeping up thru the day (hoping anyway). If not, the one consolation is that the scores probably won't effect our personal averages much because it will likely be a low vote count for this one. Free Study goes up tonight so there will be a lot of shots to vote on this week.

My score has climbed to a 5.2 today. So, I'm breathing a little easier. I'm just hoping I can pull off my personification entry. I'd really, really enjoy beating the ZOO. :)

WOOHOO! Well done Karma! My DOF is still sub 5 but I'm happy....I only entered to ease my update button withdrawls! ;o)

I decide to enter DOF shot last night ... this morning my score was 4.5 something....
but now i have climbed to a 5.23... i am following you karma! lol

well poodie doodie....my DOF is 33 votes and 4.6 (my PP looks horrid on this OLD desktop at work)I swear, EVERY computer I have access to, everything looks entirely different on each different monitor...sighhhhhh

I'm thinking if I REALLY want to MEET a goal I set I should make one to read a 3.0 average by Christmas, cause I'll never get even to mediocre 5 average..LOL

maybe I should try new hobby?LOL
