Are you on the appeals court, too? LOL!

From the complaining in the Minimalism thread I dont think so, but I could be wrong hehe

Did someone say DQ? I would like a strawberry sundae, and a small choc dip cone, thanks. : )-<=>
Good thing I don't know how to resize twice, or I would likely be in the brown bag and under the desk too.
Thanks for the heads up Shannon, and for the Ha Ha.
I got my DQ right off with the first challenge entered, and got it over with for a while I hope.
Should we start a new group and call it "Team DQ" ? It looks like there may be enough users for a start.

5.71 when it was DQ'd. Well below my average, but not nearly as embarrassing as this result. ;-)

Hey Shannon, make sure you keep your snack crumbs out of your photo this round, ok ;-)

Okay, I read the whole thread then I went away for a while. I think I now can offer Shannon my sincere condolences.... without snickering... nope, can't do it!

(I really am sorry... but still snickering :D )

Right. And I meant that she also said this a few posts later. :) Anyway, no harm done. Just thought that maybe we could avoid going around this particular circle again, since Deb already cleared it up.

Entering the JPEG is not the same as retaining the JPEG for validation. If she overwrote the JPEG like her comment implied she might have, she can't validate because the RAW isn't valid.

and she has been ominously silent... :(

Not silent - well, OK, silent, but that's cuz I was asleep. Then when I got up this morning, I had about 5 minutes of internet before it decided to go on holiday for reasons I can't quite fathom. Just now catching up when I should, umm, be, umm, working.

As for my file - it should still be quite fine. I never overwrite the jpeg even if I do open it. I realize Bear may hang me by my thumbnails and dip me in acid for that, but I open the jpegs to see if I like the shot, then usually (though of course not in this case) duplicate the RAW then edit that. Though for DPC submissions, I have been known to edit from the jpeg, but for future minimal editing entries, I'll indeed duplicate the jpeg first.

All this and I'll finish someone in the middle on this one. :-)

Well I'm upset about it I had a good chance of scoring higher than scalvert in this one and my ego was liking that. I'll be waiting a long time for scalvert to enter another shot I can beat :(
