Does the WPL link suddenly not work for anybody else???

Each week there are 3 challenges that count toward WPL scores. Two (2) that you can enter (1 member challenge, and 1 open challenge). If you enter both each week your contribution to the team (Team Free Agents) would be the highest score of the two for you that week. Obviously, your odds of having a higher score increase by participating in both weekly challenges.

For the team total each week, the 4 highest scores (only 1 per individual) are what's used to calculate the team avg score for the week. If we have less than 4 scores to use (meaning only 3 people participated) then a zero (0) is used in calculating the average. So again, to increase our odds of scoring high, the more people on the team participating each week increases our scoring ability.

Hope that clarifies it some. :D

As for the WPL 4 site not being up...not sure what's going on with that. It sounded like Scott was working on some other things with it so he may have it down temporarily for some maintenance on the website.

Rec'd an email from Scott with a link for the new WPL website. It's a forum based format. The way I understand it, you'll need to register there if you want to post to any threads. The WPL results, schedule, and standing are visible to all, registered or not.

As I mentioned before, I'll continue to post in this thread and have no immediate plans on registering on the WPL site. I'm in here (DPC) enough as it is and one site is enough for me personally.

That is correct. However, if all you want to do is check out the standings and the schedule there is no need to register. I'm fine playing right here. :D

It looks like a whole new forum install. I bet we would have to register again.

EDIT - The list appears to have been cleared. I agree with Barry, though, that I like "chatting" right here, at least for now.

Well, NOTHING that counts for WPL, but I've got a 6.1 in Entrance right now and a 5.5 in Fill the Frame and a 5.2 in Minimalism.

I'm doing pretty good in the Nude challenge... really wish it counted... I do have a pretty good idea for the Personification challenge... I just hope I can pull it off.

I don't know exactly if he did this on purpose, but you MUST register and log on to the site to be able to see the section for standings, pairings, etc. I know you didn't want to do that, but you'll have to.

Hey. Took a peek at what everyone has done in the last month (January 2007) to get a feel for our current trend. Here's the numbers.

glad2badad - 5 challenges, avg 6.2977

nards656 - 3 challenges, avg 5.0122

TCGuru - 8 challenges, avg 5.056

Blue Moon - 4 challenges, avg 5.9214

bryantbus - 1 challenge, avg 5.6169

youngnova - 4 challenges, avg 5.1320

toddhead - 3 challenges, avg 6.32235

Team average of all seven members = 5.6228 for January 2007.

Some fine shooting everyone! Keep it up. Most importantly, smile and keep having fun!!!
