| I've got the Intuos3 9x12, and have used a tablet for years. I frankly couldn't edit without one. |

| Intuous2 4x5, about the size of a mouse pad. I only use it for editing, use the mighty mouse the rest of the time for ease in navigation. When I tried the graphires a few years back I found them horribly imprecise, perhaps they're better now. The Intuos is particularly useful for dodging, burning, precise selection work in general. |

I have a Wacom Graphire 3, the 4x5" version, and I use it for everything. My mouse is still plugged in but it's collecting dust, I'd be surprised if I touched it as much as once a month. In fact, I sometimes type (ten-fingered!) with the pen still in my hand! FWIW, I have a single monitor, 1024x768 resolution; I'd probably want a larger tablet if I was using dual monitors or something.

It feels strange when I type without the pen stuck between two fingers. :)
