At least I'm not going to get any comments telling me my shot looks 'over-processed'... :-)

I dunno.. I might be able to manage that, if I can figure out which one it is. :P

Well off my estimate, but I'm not complaining. I'm just grateful for the work that went into this one. I shot again and again and again, each time finding some flaw that I would want to process; going back to the camera, trying again, changing ideas, changing everything, trying again. I wanted to shoot the best image I could produce with zero processing and I'm glad I had a week to work it out. A year might have been bettter. Anyway, learned a ton. :)

I was thinking the same and now I'm sitting at 4. It's the lowest start I've ever had.

I know what you mean. My first update click was, "Woo Hoo!"
My second click, "Oh crap!"
My third click, "Wait, It's coming back."
My last click, "And it's going back down."

Yuck. Apparently, it well and truly sucketh. I thought it would be a solid, oh, 5.4. At least the sensor dust doesn't show.

I'm crushed that my streak of 6+ entries could end with a shot like this!

I'm sitting at 6.000 right now.

I'm really happy we had this challenge as it taught me more by making me re-shoot until I got it right rather than just do a 'fix' in PS

Ah. Looking over your profile, NOW I understand why your just-under 6 bokeh III score upset you so much. But geez, Shannon. Two sub-6 scores since August ain't gonna net you much sympathy. ;)

Is anyone else who's getting slammed getting any comments? In both of tonight's challenges, I'm getting nice low scores but no explanations. At least this one's back up over 5 now.
