I've got a little issue with my simpleviewer admin module from //www.redsplash.de/projects/simplevieweradmin/.

Yup, I've forgotten my password. Don't suppose anyone might know how to reset it as editing the xml file containing the user/pass isn't working.

TIA.

how much have you done with the admin module?

tried emergency mode?

the FAQ and help there are pretty useless.

if it's any consolation i dumped simpleviewer and the amdin and went with this. i found even with admin simpleviewer was just too slow - and not customizable easy enough.

//gallery.menalto.com

EDIT: of course my site server seems to be having issues at the moment. it's not due to the gallery installation.

Di, thanks for the reminder and the bump.

Soup, I think I tried that some time ago and I'm not sure I gave it enough time to impress me. That and I was looking at it for another photographer before I really got interested.

Still wouldn't mind knowing how to reset the password and no, emergency mode doesn't do it for me.

I suppose if you had it backed up somewhere, you could delete and re-upload the files. I'm not much of a hacker, so I would have no real clue on how to reverse engineer the doodad.

Also, I imagine there might be a few over at //www.airtightinteractive.com/forum/ that could have installed the admin addon.

Crazy idea: changge the sections that say anything like $_SESSION['is_authed'] = true; to false and
$_SESSION['is_authed'] = false; to true.

heh.
