I highly recommend that anyone considering this lens but don't want to buy it yet cause they should be spending the money on other things NOT go to the store to see what the hype is about. You will walk out with 320 extra grams of pure awesome.

And vxpra, I hope you aren't raising the bar on me with a current challenge entry...

Those that have the 10-17mm should check out Fisheye-Hemi as a distortion correction plug-in. Try the demo, it's free but with watermark.

Haven't taken my 10-17mm since I got it a couple weeks ago. Just waiting for my rebate to come in the mail :)

Well, looks like you guys are off the hook for this week. My planned shot for Free Study fell through today and this was my only opportunity to shoot it. maybe next month.

Fun stuff! Gonna take me a while to get used to this lens though, especially shooting snowboarding. Everything moves so damn fast when you're that close to the action, and metering a snowy scene thats a 180 field of view is a pain in the ass!
