Cameras are not allowed during the tournament, but they are allowed on pre- tournament days so I took my Nikon D80 and 18- 135mm lens to the Pro Am Tournament on Wednesday. Top golfers like Tiger Woods had early (6:45 am)tee times so I had to start early. If you would like to see more photos, I have some in my Torrey Pines Gallery.

good stuff. I like the one where he is giving an autograph. I am actually quite jealous. The "Tiger Woods Bag" one is funny because it reminds me of that commercial where he tackles that dude who is stealing his bag...heh.
I have seen TW play in person as well, but not as intimate. It was at the British Open a couple of years back...

| What a beautiful morning it was there! I've played that course (well, one of 'em) once. Tough, especially since the women's tees are VERY long, compared to most courses. But absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for the shots - I'll check out the rest in your portfolio later. |
