For example, in Motion Panning II, I suggest in the Challenge Details, that D&L put a link to Motion Panning I for easy reference. Because I don't know how many times I go back and try to search it out and can't find it or give up.
The reason is I want to go back to look at the previous challenge is because it is a bit of a cop-out to redo one of the previous shots, so I see what was acceptable (or not) and then branch off from there...
Anyone else agree to this suggestion? Or am I the only one?

Someone else agrees because it's been suggested recently. In the meantime, you can check the box on the left to "show all challenges" and then ctrl +f to search the page for the challenge topic. |

WHat you do for now is goto Challenges > Challenge History
That page opens on the left click the option to show all and then update.
Open up your browser text search CTRL + F for IE or FF. Type the first part of the name find it every time in less then 30 seconds total. Unless ur on dialup. |

Yeah I can do that...but convenience is lovely when not too difficult to accomodate. Plus the previous challenges will be right there all the time. I guess we'll see.

I'm not sure this is such a great idea. I have visions of voters flocking to check the previous winners and being influenced by that. I donno...

But that is the whole point. A) A lot of people already do it. B) Unless you're a complete hack, you would be looking at the previous challenges to be original and inspired, not copycatting or gunshy.

I'm gonna have to side with Bear on this one. Besides it's quite often that minutes after the challenges are announced that someone posts the previous challenges in a thread.

I always check the previous challenges, just to make sure I don't copy something that has already been done.
I had an idea for Fill the Frame II and there it was sitting on the front page of the last one. So I scratched that idea. |

I suggested this months ago, I too was told to go to the challenge history and look it up myself. Oh well.
