| Ok I got my MAC and so far I love it. However, being new to MAC's I do have to learn some things. My question right now is it, what do I have to do to get my slideshow to go in the order I want it to. I tried labling my images in alphabetical order, numbered them in seuential order, but niether way has worked. When I select my images and hit slideshow, the computer seems to just grab them and show them in whatever order it wants. I want my images in the order I want them shown. On PC I just put them in the order I want and it shows them in that order. What do I need to do for the MAC? I'm sure this is simple, but I haven't figured it out yet... |

The same is true on a Mac. Create a new album in iPhoto, drag your images to it and rearrange as desired. That'll be the order. |

I presume you are using iPhoto, you have to set the Preferences to have the show run in the order you want it to. Right now your pref is probably set to random.

So it has to be opened through iPhoto? I can't just open the folder off my desktop, hit Command-A to select them all, and hit slideshow? That's what I've been doing and it won't stay in the order I want.

Where would you "hit slideshow?" I've never seen a slideshow button in the Finder. |

| When you hit "slideshow" in the Finder, your options are pretty limited. Do you have iPhoto? It will give you a lot more options, as will Adobe Lightroom, which is free for another few weeks or so. |

Never used it before, never had a need to so I guess Inever payed attention to it. So I tried it on mine and they ran in order. My files are in date form, (2006-01-21-19-04-59, etc), so not sure
