Since passing on our experiences with retailers seems to be a pretty big help here in the group, I thought I'd pass mine along too.
I ordered online a monitor from CompUSA. It got here quickly and worked fine...except it was a wide screen format which I found out my computer did not support...so back it had to go.
I first tried taking it to a local CompUSA retailer, but because it was not an item offered in the retail store, I could not do a return there. Reasonable enough. So then I called and emailed (both, just to make sure!) and they quickly sent me a link to print out a return shipping lable (prepaid by them.)
I mailed it out on Friday the 12th and had my full refund in my account by the 19th. It was shipped from Ohio to Texas.
I felt they did an excellent job of handling the return, no questions asked or restocking fees charged. I would purchase there again, however I'm buying my new monitor from Newegg.

Best Buy will throw you under the bus and CompUSA will pull you out from in front of it. :) |

Quite refreshing. The one time I had to return something to CompUSA was really quite annoying. Glad it worked out well for you. |
