How would you start if?

You want to work behind the scenes..

You want to work with lights..

You want to work as a backup or photographers helper..

You want to work with props...

You want to work as a apprentice perhaps to anyone in the filming positions..

You want to work with setting up, gear, technical, testing, cleanup, loading, unloading, fetch this or that, ect...

You may just want to work with any of these listed here

First assistant camera operators
Second assistant camera operators
Still photographers shoot publicity photographs of the film or the actors.
Best boys
Key grips
Dolly grips
Rigging grips
Rigging gaffers
First and second special effects assistants
Special effects technicians
Boommen
Even a cleaning crew would be ok as long as you where behind the scenes..

I really want the experience I guess I should say, and I am looking at the possibilities from all the points I can get.
Maybe since I am not educated with classes from college I am not qualified, but that certainly doesnt mean I couldnt be trained... I am a hard worker and I learn fast.
I pay attention to detail, work well with others, and I can take charge if need be but team work is my favorite.

Because there could be a chance for me to take it if I get out there and just take it right.... but then maybe I am dreaming...
If I don't try to aquire about a job or anything related to this then I will be giving up to easy...

Here is what I am talking about....

"Leatherheads" is a football-themed romantic comedy set in the 1920s,
and producers are seeking people with distinctive, character faces. It
also stars Renee Zellweger and will be directed by Clooney.

The next call will be Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the UT
Auditorium at Greenville Tech's South Pleasantburg campus.

* Filming of Leatherheads scheduled to start in South Carolina

Star's gaze brings glow of pleasure to Greer

GREER -- Let the Clooney watch begin. Oscar-winning actor George
Clooney will lift this town right out of routine January doldrums when
he stops by in the next couple of days to check out downtown as a
possible site for a few days of filming.

Michael J. Burmeister, location manager for the 1920s romantic comedy
"Leatherheads," told a roomful of merchants abuzz with possibilities
Tuesday that Clooney wants to see their historic downtown in person.
On Trade and Poinsett streets, "the buildings architecturally are
right there," Burmeister said. He said the production company's scout
thought he'd found a gold mine when he discovered downtown Greer.

Although it won't be a gold mine, the economic impact of filming in an
area can be "substantial and immediate," according to Jeff Monks,
commissioner with the South Carolina Film Commission. "On the back
end, when the film is released around the world, the tourism effect is
pretty substantial as well," Monks said. Since South Carolina
increased tax incentives for films and TV shows, the state recruited
seven films and one TV series last year, compared with none in 2004
and one in 2005, he said.
