Hi
Would any Mac users know a good noise reduction program,
I am using an intel core 2 duo Imac with Photoshop elements 4.0
It flys for a non Universal app but the neatimage plug in crashed the photoshop app every time as it is for G5 machines only.
So fess up and let me know what ye are all using.

I use Kodak's GEM photoshop plugin. It's fairly cheap and does an excellent job of removing noise from digital images. I don't know if it's available as a universal binary for Intel Macs or not, but I use it on my Intel based iMac (with Photoshop CS) with no problem at all:

Thanks for the info guys, Noise Ninja it is then, looks a treat and really makes a difference.
NeatImage was used on my PC but this seems much more powerful.

They have plug in and standalone. Next decision. Plus you can try it out first.

No experience with it on the Mac, but I ditto the Noise Ninja suggestion. IMO, it does a better job than Neat Image.
I hate noise reduction software, but am not so bold as to say I don't use it :-)

Check out Noiseware as another option.
