I know there are a few of you that have this camera as well, so I figured I would ask here as well.
I have had my DSC-S85 for 4 years now, I got it when it first came out. Anywho... I have been using a 128MB card in it since I got it, and it never was really a problem.
Since I have D70 now, I mainly use the Sony when we go for a day trip or somewhere that I could lose a camera. IT's basically become my knock around camera. Problem is... 128 MB doesn't go very far.
I called Sony and asked if I could use a Memory Stick Pro or if I had to use the old memory stick. I was told that I can only use the old Mem stick and that I had to use a 128MB or lower.
Do any of you DSC-S85 owners have a larger MB card in your camera or do you use a PRO card? Does it work out?
I am going away for a weekend, and I don't want to take the D70... but 128MB card is not going to get me through a weekend of partying!!!!
I don't want to get rid of the camera. It works just fine, and it has grown on me. I take 95% of my self portraits with it and it is just so comfortable. But, at the same time, I don't want to be limited to a smaller memory card.
Thanks!
Lorrie
