If you have a Skagen multi-function watch, at what time does your day of the week indicator change to the next day?
I ask because for some reason mine doesn't change until almost 3 AM and I'm wondering if this is normal. |

Could it be because Skagen is a place in Denmark which is in a 9-hour different time zone? When it's midnight in Denmark, it's 3 pm in California. But I would've thought you could change that on your watch.
edit: ah, you said 3 a.m. ... I don't know :-)

| Yeah, it's odd. The date changes right at midnight but the day of the week doesn't. I wrote their customer service department so hopefully they will be able to tell me if I got a lemon or it's some design feature that I can't fathom. |

It may be as simple as that for most people, midnight is still "Friday night", not "Saturday morning", and the 3AM switchover is less confusing as most people are sleeping then?

I considered that initially but then you would think the date would switch over later as well just so the information is more consistent. |

Is it a mechanical watch? If it is, maybe it just takes that long to make the cycle.
