Check this box if you're interested in having your
image critiqued by a member of the DPC Critique Club

If I remember right and checked this box for the AA battery challenge.
I know for sure that I checked it for my fence challenge photo.

Just wondering how long does it take for a challenge photo to be critiqued by a member?

Not every request for critique is actually fulfilled. There are way more requests than there are members of the Critique Club, so not every image gets a comment. The queue is cleared weekly, whether or not comments have been given, so if a week has passed and you haven't gotten one, you're not getting one. :)

But what are the entry requirements? I mean, I can give comments on people's photos, but I'm not exactly scoring highly here.

Are the entries critiqued at random or by relevance, i.e., do you try to critique the ribbon winners who request it?

The assignment of photos to critique is completely random. Any CC member could draw a ribbon winner or a 3.x shot. The idea here is not to be professional critics, but to offer honest and objective feedback - with some depth.

So, if I read this correctly, even I can be a member of the CC? No special requirements? No college course needed? Just a willingness to give honest opinions?
