canon just extended their rebate period on a variety of camera bodies (30d, 5d), multiple lenses, flashes, and binoculars, which will now last until 2/19.

Thats good news for alot of folks, friday I just mailed my rebate form and information in from my 85 and 17-40. If your looking for a way to get some L lens for the price of used ones. I just got the 17-40 and saved $90 on it by getting double rebates, that brings the price down to within $20 of what used ones are going for. Also saved $40 on my 85.

| But not in Europe :¬( The only lens they have extended the rebate offer on is the EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM. Given how much more lenses are here, and that I have nearly saved enough for the 100-400 it is jsut rubbing salt in to wounds.... |
