How hard can that be?

I get Jed, Jeff, Jim, Jab.....and virtually never Jeb on the first go-'round.

One time when I was working at a car dealer, I had a shirt with my name on it and some lady asked,"Is that really your name?".

What......she think I got a deal on some guy's shirts or something????

I feel sorry for these kids that their parents have to name them something like Alicia.....and then spell it something like Elycea.

That poor kid'll never get a piece of correspondence spelled right in her entire life!

Here's something I found both odd and interesting....

I got a comment that basically tried to second-guess my intent on my entry.....wrongly, I might add.

The user stats: No pic, no age, no gender, no locale, been around since July 22, '06.

With that voting average, I'd say the person is pretty much a troll.

I know there's no law that says this person's gotta participate, but that sure seems pretty damn mean-spirited.

I'm sorry if I sound pedantic and whiny, but I'm taking a pretty good whipping with some of the comments on my B&W pic.

And having viewed this profile after another lash, I just wanted to vent a little.

Even though it's been a wild ride, I'll be glad when it's done.

I've now voted on (but not commented on) the song titles photos. Nice selection. I few different ones in the collection that inspired good votes from me, and a few odd ones that got low votes. I gave a lot of sixes and sevens though.

I didn't comment on many - only 20 images, so if I missed yours I will comment later after rollover.

Same with black and white, because I will no way have a chance to vote on nearly 500 images before rollover. sigh.

Is anyone in Battle of Sexes? I can think of a few ideas, but all require models and a lot of work...LoL :-) I may try one funky idea this evening, but it will probably *suck*

I'm in, but I don't think the shot will do well. My interpretation of the challenge is a little broad. The details quote "Men are from Mars; Women are from Venus" so I didn't really go with the battle part of it. It seems like something illustrating the differences between men and women would be valid. I took it a step further and showed something that I consider primarily indicative of one of the sexes. Can't be more specific for fear of violating DPC rules. I wonder how many toilet seats we're going to see this week?

I'm in for "match", though it's a photo which seems to have good instant appeal but then tails off a bit if you keep looking at it.

I'd like to share a few comments on my Best of 2006, but it would give away too much info about the entry. Anyway, I'll just say it seems a lot of people just don't have a clue.
