Mine says I will live to 81...but can extend my life if I cut back on coffee (sheez...I only have 2 cups a day). I don't smoke, rarely drink, no drugs and they want me to stop what little I have left...heck, I need to have something bad in my life.

(although there aren't recommendations to take aspirin for otherwise healthy people under 40

The aspirin recommendation is silly. First off I am allergic to it, and my blood pressure is perfect so why would I need to take an aspirin. I look at sites like this just as fun and amusement, you really can't put any stock in it. My mother died at age 58 from cancer, she didn't smoke or drink. Same thing could happen to me!

the aspirin recommendation is obviously for people who are not allergic to it, but meets the highest level of recommendation for the US preventive services task force ('A' rating, which is extremely hard to get). it is recommended for people who have greater than or equal to a 3% chance of cardiac disease with 5 years). if your risk is less than 3% (young healthy people) your increased risk of bleeding outweighs the cardiovascular benefit. aspirin recommendations are only with regard to cardiovascular disease mortality, and does not say anything about risks for cancer and such. there are investigations as to whether aspirin can reduce the incidence of colon cancer, but there is not sufficient evidence to make population-level recommendations on it.

For sake of comparison, screening mammograms only have a 'B' rating for cancer prevention (it is less certain than with aspirin that you can expect a mortality benefit). In the absence of a reason to not take aspirin (allergy, anemia, pregnancy...), there are very few therapies that are so cheap and easily available that have such a significant potential benefit.

94. I will likely be around to irritate a good many more people! Many of my ancestors lived well into their 90s and I have a reasonably healthy lifestyle.

Woo hoo! 92! I'm going to start stocking up on mismatched pants now so I don't have to buy them later.

I am currently 39, and the calculator guesses I will die at 75.

It doesn't offer much to increase that guess either. The only recommendation that could add more than a year is the ever present aspirin promotion for +2. Blood pressure perfect (always has been), regularly active and no history of heart problems either for myself or my family makes this recommendation as bogus as it can get.

So I guess I'll be moving on at a good retirement age -- sounds good to me, I wouldn't want to stick around after I have stopped being productive.
