How bad does a comment have to be, before you report it? For instance, this one comment my wife (also a member) received on a picture of our daughter was pretty bad. Not offensive, but just plain rude. My daughter 9 and also a member here.
I know that people are people, and we are free to say what's on our minds but I don't think it's right to post plain rude comments. At least make them something that can improve the photographer.

If you are offended by a comment, then report it. Reporting does not necessarily mean it will be removed. I am speaking from experience only.

Then not likely a capital offense (or violation). Best advice is to ignore it and move on. :) |

I would just ignore it, but we are doing this as a family to spend time together doing what we love. My daughter really loves all of this and is getting pretty good at PS. She is only nine and it's hard to explain to her that there are people in the world that deserve to be ignored. It's just my parental instinct kicking in.
I know what you are thinking, it's the internet.

Lots of things about parenting are hard, but they have to be done anyway.

I dunno. I think I'd figured out that some people need to be ignored by that age.
The hard part is figuring out how to tell her that some people feel "bigger" because they are hidden behind a keyboard.

Okay just a tiny rant. If some people tell you your picture is OOF and some tell you a item in the picture is dirty, How can it be both if they are seeing dirt?? (and by dirty I'm not talking picture wise I'm talking clean it up) I just don't get it!! Okay rant over I'll move on :) |

Your dirt is obviously OOF. :) You should either work on ficus or stop taking dirty pictures. :P |
