Umm....don't do that, dear!

The late-teens and 20-somethings around here that go for that call those above the buns tattoos "Tramp Stamps".

I apologize, with my stupid dialup I thought I caught this spare post in time, but apparently not.

Hmmm... Tramp Stamp. At my age, though, don't you think that would be entertaining? :-)

Problem is I can't think of anything I'd want to get tattoo'd, other than "What are you looking at?" and I'm kinda petite so it might not fit.

Thanks.....I'm still in a state of shock.

I'm just wondering if there are quiet lurkers out there with 7s.

I haven't seen anything higher than the 6.8-something I've been posting, xXxscarletxXX says she hates me, I take that as a good sign, Bear_Music is being cute by saying he has a 6.xx, and he's always a serious contender.

I'll have a stroke if I get way up there!....8>)

i got mine when i was 30, having thought about if for about 10 years. it's a space filler image from the book of kells, an ancient celtic bible. while i'm not religious in any way, these filer images go beck well before christian time to ancient celtic, nordic and druidic imagery.

i think the tramp stamp thing only counts if you wear the butt crack jeans...

Ooer. Best call the medics now then. A 6.8 should get you on the front page for sure. Possibly the top half of it.

I would say go with the "what are you looking at" but with you being so petite it would have to be so small OLD eyes like mine would have to get real close to read it. And that could be a bother

Ok, melethia and noraneko, I saw your "Turkish Delight" Go ahead and drool all over yourselves. Now the men are going to have to start commenting on the hot babes.

deb, ar you really going to give serdar a drive to frankfurt? now you get to find out if he's as nice as he looks...

With best of challenges there must be a part of the voters that vote higher across the board for what are, usually, better quality entries than in 'normal' challenges, and another set who vote relative to entries of that particular challenge. So you still end up with a higher set of scores at the top.

Can't be far from the top with 6.8, mind.

My 6.0 has now made its way down under 5.5. Clowns have chimed in with comments.

I suppose having an effect is the ultimate reward.

Hee hee. Sorry, bmartuch I promise it won't happen again...today :-) The thing is, there are a lot more female models than male models photographed here. So we have to take what we can get.

By the way, I'm pretty sure I know which entry is yours in Best Of silverfoxx. If it is the one I'm thinking of, I scored it very highly, and not because I thought it was yours. :-)

Okay....

Sympathy time. I thought I screwed up the file when I did my Procrastination entry. I think now it may be okay. I'm trying to get it out of my abysmally slow dialup, which of course, times out before it gets even a half meg of this 6.10 MB file.

Dialup so SUCKS!!!!

So until I can get it out, I'm whimpering.

I want it critiqued as well, and when I click the box, it gives me a long box that says: Location of exposure.

What do I put in the box?

We probably need a 12-step program for posthumous comment addiction? Or maybe we could clone him?

I need a 12-step program for not being able to comment at work. :(

Best Of is at 5.0something

Song Title is at 6.0something

I'm cool with that. Oh, and I have a favorite on my Best Of! Yay!

kdsprog I think we got sidetracked on the same rant forum (W's Speech). I got all spun up by some remarks I considered very simplistic and posted a....well, quite a rant. Although I prefer the word "analysis." :-) Routerguy and I were just locking horns.

Oh, and my Best Of score has been dropping like a rock this afternoon, down to 6.19. Hope it stays in the 6 range, but two weeks is a long time...

Yes, I found your rant quite glorious! There are some real die hards though. I find zealous devotedness to one man to be quite insane.

On another note, my daughter who is joining the coast guard (still waiting for a physical to be scheduled which is the last step, due to a hold up on childhood medical records from a hospital that changed hands several times). They called her today and asked her to reconsider her chosen field (medical) in favor of Special Ops. It seems her testing puts her right where they want someone for that field. She's all excited because now she thinks she could be a spy. LOL.

routerguy isn't worth arguing with. he's dismissive of other arguments.

I seem to be having a not so great day....

I thought I trashed my original file for the Procrastination entry, I didn't, I don't think, but I'm too computer stupid to know for exact sure, and it's such a huge file (6.10 MB) that for the last four hours I have been unable to get it out through my dialup to see if it's acceptable to the muckety-mucks in the DPC castle.

I think I sent an acceptable jpeg from it, 'cause someone told me that should work but I don't know if I did that right either.

To top it all off, it's been on a slight, but nevertheless steady downward slide all day.

6.8938 was the high and now I'm at a still very respectable 6.8000.

I dunno if some first voters are adjusting it downward or the trolls are out.

Of course, I may just be being overly sensitive 'cause I'm so happy with where it's been so far.

I was *SO* close to a 7!!!!

Update on my upcoming OOBIE award-winning entry:8>)

I am having such fun with the commentary that I'm not really as unhappy about the votes as I first was.

Anyone wanna bet me a quarter sight-unseen that I got an OOBIE award winner here?

Anyway.....I'm back off to try and get that mongo file to upload.

Some days it sucks to be me....hey, that's kinda funny!

Good lord! My original files are typically about 2-3MB from a 5MP camera. Are you uploading a RAW file?

Dear me. Seems like there would be a lot more future opportunities for a doctor than a spy.

Yep, as it turns out, I am. Hope he doesn't mind a truck. Another one of those things I've learned in Germany - if you drive a Ford Ranger (and I may be the only person here who does), NEVER get in the left lane on the autobahn. I will venture briefly into the middle lane if it's three lanes to get past the big trucks going up hill, but once I get past whoever I'm passing, I get right back over to the right side.
