BOTH!!! But this weekend I am setting you the task of bringing me all the Mersey delights you can find!!! :o)

Here is a picture of Fiddler's Ferry, which funnily enough is not run by Fiddlers nor is it a Ferry.

Here is a picture of my Hallway.

Left you a couple of comments Jane! :o)

Now to cheer me and Jane up someone out there must have a photo of the exotic place they live in? :o)

Thanks for the comments Natalya, I am with you on the opinion of the plugin air freshener, adds a little something to the ambience I would say. The cat was rubbish though, wouldn't stay still. I think other people in this forum are going to have to go some way to post a picture of a more exotic place than my hallway!!!

Well, I am having a tough day and would love a little cheering up before I head to bed so if anyone fancies showing me their world and making me smile that would be really cool :o)

Here ya go Natalya :)

This was taken last night. Can't see the mountains today due to heavy cloud, but boy-oh-boy, most evenings I'm treated to a spectacular show here...

They might be in the same family. Porcupines are much bigger though. This guy probably weighs in at about 35 - 40 lbs.

This is my budgie Colin. I got him from a bloke down the pub who said that his unusual size and colouration is due to the fact the he is a very rare breed only found in Russia. I am thinking that I may have to find him a new home though because he doesn't say much and one of my cats has gone missing........

Wow, that's amazing - getting serious do you really have a pet toucan or is this from a aviary or something? GORGEOUS bird!

No this was from our trip to the Dominican Republic in Aug 06. My husband handled this bird and we both handled some parrots as well, it was great. I could of probably gotten some better shots of the birds as you could get really close and they stayed perfectly still as well, but for some reason the size of the birds was upsetting my 6 year old daughter and she really wanted to get out of the aviary. Oh well.

Too bloody cold to take much outside - Winnipeg, Manitoba (central Canada), last I checked it's -40ish (celcius) with the wind. Yuck. But here's a few from my little corner...

Edit to add, I've been reading your story, I am so sorry for your loss. I too have experienced the loss of a loved one, and over time, it does heal.
