That was a pelican that you saw in my photo with the seagulls, and thats the beach, that is ten minutes drive from our home. We can also get to Aussie Zoo, in a twenty minute drive as well.
The whole area around us is sea, ocean, towns, cities, mountains, farmland, all within a 50 kilometre radius. We are just so lucky to have such a wonderful landscape that varies so much, all around us, and so close.

Sounds just beautiful Shez!! I am just looking through my files for a photo I took awhileback from my balconey to show you all where I live! I can't even get on to it now to take another one or outside so when I find this one it will have to do!! :o)

Well no, I'm not a true scouser, I'm from St Helens so the scousers call me a 'woollieback'. We are more of a Rugby League household, so it's the Saints for us, but I will support Everton if I really have to!! How about yourself?
Footie?
Rugby?
or non of the above? |

Well, am from a proud Yorkshire family (although I was born 'darn sath')so have to say I'm a Leeds United supporter (if I really have to!).
Andi ( Ecce Signum) claims to be a northener and calls somewhere on the Wirral 'home' :o) But, think he'd have to have words with you about the team you picked above! ;o)
I am struggling to understand Australia to Merseyside?? That's a funny move!!

I did it for a dare!!!! No not really, my parents came back dragging me kicking and screaming. I was only 18 when we came home, so I didn't really have a say in the matter. However, although I hated being back at first, I love living here now. I may just have the 'Bovver Boys' outside my front window instead of white sand, blue sky and turquoise sea but I have a laugh. (Mind you I had quite a laugh in Oz as well maybe I am just trying to delude myself.....hm......). |

my house , north atlantic side of Spain.
I live in a small hill that finishs as a cliff.
from my window west side
and east side
Born in Paris (France) I move to Spain because of love. But my job took me to near Malaga (during 5 years) with beautiful views of Gibraltar and after that 7 years near Toledo, always alone because my husband was working in Santander.
After two failed back surgeries and a 65% disability ,
we finally have found this place to live , with room enough for books , cats and collections ...
It's very peaceful.I'm very happy here , if only pain could stop ...

If you are lucky I may post a photo of my ironing pile when I get home tonight.......so that's summat to look forward to eh? No actually I can't face looking at it let alone taking a photo of it, it's my big ambition in life to afford an ironing woman ;-D

What a beautiful place you and your husband live in Mambe!! So sorry to hear you struggle with pain too :o( I know at times it can really get me down and you must be the same :o( Those moments where you feel ok are so precious, certainly from my perspective as I am never sure when the severe pain will hit again. I hope you manage to find full relief from your pain some how.
With love,
Natalya :o)

Natalya , you're very kind and an extraordinary woman !
As you surely know , pain has a good side , we appreciate better little precious moments ,like a smile , a nice flower , a beautiful color , a moment of peace , etc.
I'm more sensible now to other suffering people and try to help sometimes listening , other with advices or simply sending mails to say hello , you're not alone !
You have a big heart that's why so many of them here appreciate you. |

Wheel of life and people living it.
Fluffy waterfall.
Cat.
Seasons get pretty seasonal around here. I have seen the Aurora Borealis from Oslo, but mostly there's too much light polution to spot it. When I've seen it from within the city, it's always been more or less like distant stratus clouds against a light sky. From the outskirts it shows all green amd moving, but it's not often you see it down here.

I just spotted this thread. My condolences for your loss Natalya and the health troubles you are now battling. I hope your good health returns.
Currently I am charging my camera battery so I cannot show you something that is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT now. But I can show you some recent pictures....
My part of the world.....I live in the Sunshine State and a recent winter road trip down to Fairchild Tropical Gardens has the Chihuly Exhibit that is going on from now till May 2007. Let me show you a little bit of the beauty that can be found here and hopefully bring you a little sunshine and put a smile on your face.

Hi Natalya, I am afraid I have not got much to offer in the way of photo's this evening, it's either a picture of my hallway or a picture of the powerstaion which is just up the road. Since it's your thread I will let you choose which of these delights you would like to see!! |
