Just received a positive verification note from the SC for the Backwater Commuter image. I think this is a great idea, sending a positive note out is so much better than before when you never really knew whether it had passed or not.

Thanks SC, and keep up the good work.

That is a great idea - I am getting nervous about my 12 Days photo, as I am not very confident about my camera to computer to PS workflow and worrying about PS or uploading software showing up on the exif of the original file....

You must not have had a request for proof for quite some time. :)

SaraR - you might want to consider just directly transferring files from your card to your computer using your operating system's file folders. That's the best way to ensure that your EXIF is good.

Had one just last week and never got a note. Maybe it's a new thing.

I had one for the Life II in December but didn't get a note. When did they start appearing?

Odd...I believe that confirmation notices were enabled quite some time ago - I'd guess about a year. You didn't get a confirmation note on your front page?

Only when someone has requested a validation during a challenge, not for the automatic verifications post-challenge.

I'm checking. It seems that some are and some aren't. Possibly top 5 are, others aren't, or vice versa?

Oh Sara!!! Good luck! That would make me cry (in empathy) if something went wrong and your original wasn't accepted and you lost your ribbon! Fingers crossed, pulling for you!

Didn't receive anything for a 1st or 4th place. Did receive a box on the left side of the screen after an image in a challenge was validated mid-challenge.

I'd like to suggest that any request for proof/verification is responded to by a note, be it positive or negative.

Yea, me too. That's what I'm suggesting happen, if at all possible.
